Our story

We founded Wevo after watching friends and colleagues in high-rises avoid buying EVs because home charging felt impossible. The data confirmed it: many city residents live in apartment buildings with limited electrical capacity, and businesses hesitate to install chargers due to costly upgrades.

So we created Wevo to deliver simple, efficient, cost-effective charging wherever it’s needed most – MDUs, workplaces, commercial sites, and fleets – without requiring expensive infrastructure changes.

Today, Wevo operates as Wevo by SolarEdge, leading EV Charging Solutions at SolarEdge. The benefit for customers and partners is greater scale and a deeper connection to SolarEdge’s broader smart-energy ecosystem.

Wevo by SolarEdge seamlessly connects EV charging with on-site energy management – combining solar, PV, storage, and EV charging into one unified experience.

Nous restons une entreprise autonome gérée par la même équipe et nous conservons notre mission et nos valeurs qui consistent à soutenir tout chargeur utilisant des normes ouvertes. Nous allons simplement le faire plus rapidement et avec une plus grande portée mondiale.

Parallèlement, nous intégrons SolaredgeONE, offrant aux clients de SolarEdge une solution unique pour la production d'énergie solaire sur site, le stockage sur batterie et la recharge des véhicules électriques.
